In education, the student is the center of attention under which educational policies are proposed, teaching techniques are promoted, didactic strategies are proposed and knowledge is demanded by teachers and educational institutions; all of the above becomes topics that in most cases the teacher does not know because he was trained under a discipline and not as a teacher or pedagogue; In this sense, the elaboration of documents that compile a little of the knowledge that the educator must continue to acquire in his practice, becomes a way of correcting the deficiencies in his training, at the same time as an instrument to promote analysis and critique of teaching. Through the following article, some relevant aspects in the teaching process will be revealed, such as: the learning styles developed by the environment and by genetics, didactics, the mediations between teacher and student and the cognitive functions composed by the phases of the mental act and mental operations.
